Our beautiful 1-bedroom cottage provides an excellent homebase for a pleasantly memorable stay in the Byron Hinterland. The bedroom comes with a comfortable king-size bed, that guarantees a restful time and healthy sleep! In the spacious living area you will find an electric fire place, a comfortable sofa, and a 4K TV with Apple TV and many streaming channels. All this for a great and comfortable time spent indoors. The fully-equipped kitchen further allows a home-like experience to practice your cooking skills and the dining area provides a great opportunity to get together and enjoy a delicious meal. Given that this is a remote property, you get to experience the liberating feeling of using an outdoor shower! And of course, let us not forget to mention our beautiful greenery surroundings where you can relax, enjoy the sun, fresh air and listen to the calming sound of nature.

Other Details to Note

MOBILE COVERAGE: Given that this is a remote property, your mobile will probably not receive coverage. Please take this into account when travelling to the property and please ensure you have the WIFI Calling feature turned on so you can use your mobile as you would normally through the WIFI network when you arrive. LAUNDRY ACCESS: The cleaner may need to access the washer and dryer which are located at the rear of the house during your stay. They will usually be pretty quick and very respectful of your privacy, but please be mindful of this when you have a shower and angle the blinds appropriately. DRIVING TO THE PROPERTY: As you approach the final stretch, please note that the last couple of kilometres of road are unsealed. However, rest assured that the road is generally in good condition. Whether you’re driving a 2WD or a 4WD/AWD vehicle, you should be able to navigate it without any major issues. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of their choice of wheels. Just take it slow and be attentive. ANIMALS ON THE ROAD CAUTION: Our local wild animals are not accustomed to vehicles. Occasionally, they might dart across the road unexpectedly. Drive attentively and be prepared to stop if needed. MAINTENANCE CREW: The extensive garden requires regular maintenance by the gardeners and lawn mowing team. They may need to access the property during your stay, but they will always prioritise your privacy and avoid working near the house unless they are aware that you are out for the day. Similarly, the pool technician may need access to the pool and pool pump area under the decking to ensure everything is running smoothly for you. House Rules

- We send check-in instructions and a photo guide showing you how to access the property. This is sent via Airbnb message and email. - Please notify us if you intend on checking out late or extending your stay at LEAST 24 hours before your checkout. The cleaner will arrive at 11am so you must be check-ed out before then. If you have not, a $50 late-checkout fee will apply. - Please respect the neighbours, and do not make significant noise or play loud music after 10pm. - No parties and no smoking. If you disrespect that rule there will be penalty fees. - If guests lock themselves out of the property OR they do not place keys in the lockbox at checkout, an $80 fee will apply. If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, a (up to) $300 fee will apply.

The Creek House was all we expected and more. It’s remote, peaceful and welcoming. Driving along the winding road with this gem at the end made us so content. If you like seclusion with nature and comfort this is your perfect spot to relax. Nothing was nicer than spending time just enjoying the time together with our pup having everything we needed and more. I cannot give any negative comments whatsoever to be honest.

What a magical, serene place Jay has created. Away from the maddening crowd in its own pocket of nature. Being by the creek, amongst the trees was very relaxing. Comfy bed, great kitchen, exceptionally clean ( thanks Isobel) and of course the delightful shower. Highly recommend.

I loved my stay at this cabin by the creek. It was so peaceful I didn't want to leave. The creek babbles past the cabin, over moss covered boulders. It's a breathtaking property. The shower is really quite private with the creek and trees opposite. There is another cabin on the property, up the hill behind it, but it feels private. I felt safe there, despite its seclusion. The cabin is rustic looking, yet has all the mod cons inside such as modern appliances, stove top, light up mirror, smart TV with Netflix etc, & 2 air cons & the electric fire heater. Every little detail had been thoughtfully included.I appreciated the supplies of coffee pods for the coffee machine, and glad wrap etc. Mullumbimby or Bangalow are nearby to visit. The roads leading in are quite even and smooth. It's a bit narrow and windy in parts, and occasional cars drive fast in the opposite direction, so best to drive slow and keep to the left. But the roads are beautiful with trees making a tunnel canopy.

Jay's house was an incredible home for a recent holiday. Everything, from clear directions to a fully stocked kitchen and ample linen meant that we were able to feel right at home and at peace from the moment we heard the creek- metres from the bedroom! Jay takes care of the property in line with the natural environment and communicates quickly to any questions- he's a wonderful caretaker. We had a beautiful time and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Jay’s property is incredibly peaceful and surrounded by absolutely stunning land. The cabin is well-equipped, the bed super comfy, and the hot water is deliciously hot. Jay is a wonderful host, thoughtful, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Already dreaming of coming back.

The accomodation was very nice and cozy , in heart of nature and view of the creek . Never saw such well equipped airbnb kitchen , ready to cook any meal, variety of streaming services available for rainy days . Jay is super responsive and wants to make the stay best as possible for the guests. Will book again definitely :)

Driving along the beautiful windy road approaching the property… daily worries just slip away… The natural beauty of Upper Coopers Creek seeps into me and is healing. I love it there so much. The little house is right on the creek. You can hear the water flowing. It is so soothing. The house is beautiful and simple and has everything that you need. The shower is outside on the deck over the creek and that is a luxury that is indescribable. We both loved our weekend there and will be back for longer next time.

From check-in to check-out, this was an unreal experience. The host was super friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. The place itself? Absolutely stunning. Spotless, cozy, and way more welcoming than I expected. I was genuinely impressed. Can’t recommend it enough!

Enchanted place! Creek house went beyond my expectations.. everything was just perfect. The luxurious and quite expensive ammenities and furnishings, the spacious clean cabin, loved the deck areas, awesome outdoor shower, constant hot water, easy undercover parking (unlike most airbnbs park far away then unload/load car in rain/mud and walk a few hundred meters)! Appreciated vacuum and hose - could even clean the car! And best of all of course was the magical creek and nature / surrounds. However slept on camp mat as bed was terrible and also my mum was terrified of the long winding road there in the rain. I would come back on my own or with a partner. Would be a great for a honeymoon, writers, thinkers, yogis, meditators, health and wellbeing retreat. Peaceful tranquil private beautiful and magical
