A WARM WELCOME FOR PETS We genuinely love hosting your furry friends! To ensure the retreat remains pristine for all guests, we just ask you to follow a few house rules. FURNITURE: Please keep pets off beds and sofas. If you know your pet loves to cuddle, you must bring your own blankets to cover our furniture completely. CANE TOADS: As with any rural property in this area, cane toads may be present. Their poison is highly toxic to dogs. Please ensure your pet is supervised at all times and does not interact with any toads. RAT BAIT: We use pet-proof bait stations to manage rodents, which are a natural part of the ecosystem. While securely placed, it is still possible for a dog to find a poisoned rodent. We kindly ask that you keep an eye on your pet and contact a vet immediately if they show any signs of illness.CLEANLINESS: Please clean up after your pet, both inside and out. To avoid extra cleaning fees, please ensure pets are clean and dry before coming inside. SPECIAL OFFER FOR PET PARENTS We love seeing your pets enjoying their vacation! THE JOURNEY TO YOUR RETREAT Our beautiful, secluded location is part of the magic. The final stretch of the journey is on a classic unsealed hinterland road. It's well-maintained and suitable for any standard 2WD or 4WD vehicle, but we advise taking it slow to enjoy the scenery and navigate any bumps. Be aware that our local wildlife (wallabies and birds) are not car-savvy and can be unpredictable, so please drive with care, especially at dawn and dusk. CONNECTIVITY IN THE HINTERLAND To help you fully unwind, please note there is not much mobile phone reception in our valley. We highly recommend turning on your "Wi-Fi Calling" feature before you arrive; our fast Wi-Fi will then allow your phone to work seamlessly. Please have your driving directions loaded before you leave the nearest town. KEEPING YOUR SANCTUARY PERFECT To ensure the property is always at its best, our maintenance team may need to visit during your stay. This includes our gardener, pool technician, or a cleaner accessing the laundry facilities. Your privacy is their absolute priority. They are professional, discreet, and trained to work in a way that minimises any impact on your stay.

House Rules

We will send you a welcome guide link in your inbox. Keep your eye out for it! Many people love the place so much that they want to extend it at the very last minute. Normally, we are very happy to offer an extension, but please keep in mind that the cleaners will have planned their day and/or travelled a fair way to get to the property. So if you do extend, try to do it at least a few hours before check-out time. Please respect the neighbours, and do not make significant noise or play loud music between 10 pm and 8 am. No parties and no smoking indoors. If you lock yourself out of the property or you do not place keys on the dining table at checkout, an $80 fee may apply. If you lose a set of keys during your stay, a fee of up to $300 may apply. PET POLICY: Well-behaved pets are welcome! To ensure the comfort of all our guests and to maintain the quality of the property, we have a few simple rules for our four-legged guests: * Pets are not permitted on beds or sofas without your own pet blankets. If you know your pet loves to cuddle, you MUST bring pet blankets to cover our furniture completely. * Please clean up after your pet, both inside and outside the property. * Excessive Cleaning: We understand that adventures in the hinterland can get a little messy! However, please ensure your pet is clean and dry before entering the retreat to avoid excessive mess. An additional cleaning fee will be charged for removing evidence of pets from furniture, soiled linens (e.g., muddy paw prints), or excessive pet hair. Our additional cleaning fee is charged at $25 per half-hour.

Guest Access

You will have exclusive and uninterrupted access to the entire Pool House, the expansive deck, and of course, the stunning private pool. This is your private sanctuary to enjoy. Our property is home to two separate retreats. To ensure absolute privacy for everyone, we kindly ask that you enjoy the Pool House and its immediate gardens and refrain from approaching the other dwelling (the Creek House). We ensure its guests do exactly the same, giving you complete peace and seclusion. For those wishing to explore the beautiful Snows Creek, we have opened up a pathway that you can access directly opposite the caravan. Parking is also provided for your convenience directly outside the house.

We were so impressed with our stay at Snows Creek Retreat . This breakaway from work was made perfect with taking our precious pooch with us. Plus the peaceful surroundings and pool was exactly what we were after. All the personal touches were just lovely and the kitchen was fantastic. Has everything you need if you love cooking. Thank you Jay this place is definitely on our list to stay again.

After a few hectic weeks planning our wedding, we needed a soft place to land, sit back, relax, and chill out. Jay's place was exactly what we needed; everything was superb, down to the comfy bed, beautiful towels, stunning linen, and those amazing green doors in the home. Everything was exceptional. We did some research on the property, because we were absolutely in awe of the place, the pool was stunning, the creek was beautiful, and it was so private. We stayed in the pool house, which was the original home on the property. Much has changed with renovations that have inspired me - including the shadow cabinets, which I am keen to install in my own home, due to the amount of space they provide. The pool was amazing, and the deck chairs provided were comfortable. One hour from Byron Bay - so do yourself a favor and come visit - you won't be disappointed.

We had an amazing weekend getaway at Snows Creek Pool House Retreat with our two golden boys. The property was perfect for them to explore, and they had an absolute blast. The house itself was spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home and the perfect escape. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

Had the best 2 weeks here. A beautiful spot and so private. Place was spotless and so well set up. Jay was fantastic to deal with. Already planning a return stay.

Find us

You will most probably want to arrive by car, although we have had some people arrive by bicycle. We do have about 2km of unsealed road prior to our house, but these are in pretty good condition. Just take your time, especially around the corners.
