A WARM WELCOME FOR PETS We genuinely love hosting your furry friends! To ensure the retreat remains pristine for all guests, we just ask you to follow a few house rules. FURNITURE: Please keep pets off beds and sofas. If you know your pet loves to cuddle, you must bring your own blankets to cover our furniture completely. CANE TOADS: As with any rural property in this area, cane toads may be present. Their poison is highly toxic to dogs. Please ensure your pet is supervised at all times and does not interact with any toads. RAT BAIT: We use pet-proof bait stations to manage rodents, which are a natural part of the ecosystem. While securely placed, it is still possible for a dog to find a poisoned rodent. We kindly ask that you keep an eye on your pet and contact a vet immediately if they show any signs of illness.CLEANLINESS: Please clean up after your pet, both inside and out. To avoid extra cleaning fees, please ensure pets are clean and dry before coming inside. SPECIAL OFFER FOR PET PARENTS We love seeing your pets enjoying their vacation! THE JOURNEY TO YOUR RETREAT Our beautiful, secluded location is part of the magic. The final stretch of the journey is on a classic unsealed hinterland road. It's well-maintained and suitable for any standard 2WD or 4WD vehicle, but we advise taking it slow to enjoy the scenery and navigate any bumps. Be aware that our local wildlife (wallabies and birds) are not car-savvy and can be unpredictable, so please drive with care, especially at dawn and dusk. CONNECTIVITY IN THE HINTERLAND To help you fully unwind, please note there is not much mobile phone reception in our valley. We highly recommend turning on your "Wi-Fi Calling" feature before you arrive; our fast Wi-Fi will then allow your phone to work seamlessly. Please have your driving directions loaded before you leave the nearest town. KEEPING YOUR SANCTUARY PERFECT To ensure the property is always at its best, our maintenance team may need to visit during your stay. This includes our gardener, pool technician, or a cleaner accessing the laundry facilities. Your privacy is their absolute priority. They are professional, discreet, and trained to work in a way that minimises any impact on your stay.

House Rules

We will send you a welcome guide link in your inbox. Keep your eye out for it! Many people love the place so much that they want to extend it at the very last minute. Normally, we are very happy to offer an extension, but please keep in mind that the cleaners will have planned their day and/or travelled a fair way to get to the property. So if you do extend, try to do it at least a few hours before check-out time. Please respect the neighbours, and do not make significant noise or play loud music between 10 pm and 8 am. No parties and no smoking indoors. If you lock yourself out of the property or you do not place keys on the dining table at checkout, an $80 fee may apply. If you lose a set of keys during your stay, a fee of up to $300 may apply. PET POLICY: Well-behaved pets are welcome! To ensure the comfort of all our guests and to maintain the quality of the property, we have a few simple rules for our four-legged guests: * Pets are not permitted on beds or sofas without your own pet blankets. If you know your pet loves to cuddle, you MUST bring pet blankets to cover our furniture completely. * Please clean up after your pet, both inside and outside the property. * Excessive Cleaning: We understand that adventures in the hinterland can get a little messy! However, please ensure your pet is clean and dry before entering the retreat to avoid excessive mess. An additional cleaning fee will be charged for removing evidence of pets from furniture, soiled linens (e.g., muddy paw prints), or excessive pet hair. Our additional cleaning fee is charged at $25 per half-hour.

Guest Access

You will have exclusive and uninterrupted access to the entire Pool House, the expansive deck, and of course, the stunning private pool. This is your private sanctuary to enjoy. Our property is home to two separate retreats. To ensure absolute privacy for everyone, we kindly ask that you enjoy the Pool House and its immediate gardens and refrain from approaching the other dwelling (the Creek House). We ensure its guests do exactly the same, giving you complete peace and seclusion. For those wishing to explore the beautiful Snows Creek, we have opened up a pathway that you can access directly opposite the caravan. Parking is also provided for your convenience directly outside the house.

We absolutely loved staying at Jay’s place. He communicated pro-actively, which was very helpful. The house was located in a beautiful garden filled with birdsong. It was very clean and had all the utilities needed for a restful holiday.

We had a fantastic stay! The house is exactly as shown in the photos, very cozy and equipped with everything you might need. The location in the middle of nature is perfect to disconnect and relax, and Jay, our host, was always very kind and attentive to anything we might need. The internet also worked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. It’s not really a negative, just something to keep in mind: the accommodation is a bit isolated, so it’s best to stock up on supplies before arriving. But honestly, that’s part of its charm and we absolutely loved it!

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful property! The home is tucked away in a peaceful and private area, surrounded by serene nature - perfect for a relaxing escape. Everything was clean and very well-equipped. Jay was great at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed. Our dog Benji absolutely loved exploring the outdoor space and felt right at home. It’s not always easy to find such a welcoming pet-friendly spot, and this one exceeded our expectations. We would definitely love to return!

Driving to the Property: The final part of your journey is on a classic unsealed country road, which is part of the authentic hinterland adventure. The road is well-maintained and suitable for a standard 2WD vehicle in all weather conditions. We always advise taking it slow to enjoy the beautiful scenery, navigate any bumps with ease, and be mindful of our local wildlife, especially around dawn and dusk. Parking: Once you arrive, we provide secure, private, and complimentary parking on-site, just steps from your front door. Ride-Sharing & Taxis: While ride-sharing services (like Uber) and local taxis are available in the broader region, it's important for guests to know that fares to and from our secluded property are extremely expensive due to the distance from town centres. Wait times can also be significant, and availability is not always guaranteed. For these reasons, we strongly recommend having your own vehicle for a more cost-effective and reliable experience. Exploring the Region: With your car, our retreat serves as the perfect, peaceful base for exploring the region's stunning natural beauty. Enjoy scenic drives to nearby attractions like the spectacular Minyon Falls or wander through the charming hinterland villages of Federal, Bangalow, and Newrybar, all just a picturesque journey away.
