We don't have a corporate diversity policy or an HR department here. We just have a genuine belief that the world could be a bit softer, and that everyone deserves a safe, beautiful place to exhale.
If you were wondering what we mean when we say we are proudly inclusive, here is our dictionary:
- Inclusion
- noun
- The practice of ensuring people feel they belong and are valued. At Snows Creek Retreat, it just means this space is yours to breathe, relax, and be entirely yourself. No matter who you love, how you identify, or where you come from, you are safe here.
- Empathy
- noun
- The ability to understand and share the feelings of another. The absolute foundation of good hospitality. It costs nothing, but it changes everything.
- Woke
- adjective
- Alert to and concerned about social injustice and discrimination. A word that gets thrown around as an insult these days — usually by folks who desperately need a relaxing holiday. To us, it simply means keeping your eyes open and actually caring about other people. We wear it as a badge of honour.
