Experience the ultimate rainforest sanctuary by securing The Two Houses exclusively for your group. This is not a separate building — you are booking The Pool House and The Creek House at the same time, giving your party two completely private, self-contained homes on one breathtaking property. It is the perfect setup for friends or families who want to share a holiday, but value their own space.
Gather together at The Pool House to enjoy the private magnesium mineral pool and expansive sunny deck—the ideal social hub for lazy afternoons and BBQ dinners. Then, retreat to your own private sanctuaries. One couple enjoys the poolside luxury with its brand-new designer bathroom, while the other escapes to the intimate Creek House, featuring an indoor fireplace and our famous creekside rain shower. Both homes feature true chef’s kitchens, cloud-like sofas for movie nights, climate control for year-round comfort, and incredibly comfortable king beds with bespoke pillow menus.
You will share the grounds with nature’s locals. Wake up to wallabies grazing, watch for the koalas that visit the property seasonally, and keep an eye out for the elusive platypus in the creek below.
Powered by the sun with battery storage and mains grid backup, and serviced by pure rainwater, this is sustainable luxury at its finest. We are a world away, yet just 25 minutes from the famous Doma Café in Federal.

Pet Policy, Safety & Fees
- Pet Fee: A pet fee of $20 per night applies (payable via Guest Services ). Want it refunded? Check out our social media offer in your welcome guide!
- Furniture & Cleanliness: Pets are not permitted on beds or sofas unless you use your own pet blankets. Ensure your dog is clean and dry before entering. (An extra cleaning fee of $50/hour applies for pet hair, muddy prints, or damage to furniture).
- Never Leave Unattended: Strange environments can cause separation anxiety. Pets must not be left alone at the property (inside or outside) while you go out.
- Wildlife Protection: We share this space with wallabies, koalas, and echidnas. Dogs must be under effective control at all times when outside.
- Rural Hazards: Please ensure your pet’s tick prevention is up to date (paralysis ticks and leeches are common). Supervise your dog at night due to toxic Cane Toads, and be mindful of the secure rat bait stations placed around the property.

House rules & important info
Check-In, Check-Out & Extensions
- Check-In: After 4:00 PM (Self check-in via key safe)
- Check-Out: Before 11:00 AM
- Extensions: We love when guests want to stay longer! If you wish to extend, please contact us at least 12 hours before your scheduled check-out so we can manage our cleaning team.
- Departure Checklist: Before leaving, please start the dishwasher, clean the BBQ if used, ensure all doors are closed, and leave the keys on the dining table or in the yellow letterbox when you empty the rubbish.
Quiet Hours & Gatherings
- To preserve the tranquil nature of the rainforest and respect our neighbors, quiet hours are strictly from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM .
- We strictly do not allow unauthorized parties, events, or unregistered overnight guests.
- Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited indoors.
Location, Driving & Wi-Fi Calling
- The Drive: The final stretch of your journey is on a classic unsealed country road. It is suitable for any standard 2WD vehicle, but please take it slow to enjoy the scenery, as wildlife regularly crosses the roads and driveway.
- Transportation: A private car is essential. There is no public transport, and ride-share apps (like Uber) are unreliable and prohibitively expensive here.
- Supplies: The nearest supermarket is approximately 35 minutes away along winding country roads, so we recommend stocking up before you arrive.
- Connectivity: There is no mobile phone reception in our valley! Please load your driving directions before leaving the main highway. Once you arrive, our fast Wi-Fi will allow your phone’s “Wi-Fi Calling” feature to work seamlessly.
Meet Dan & Rain
- Dan: Our friendly property assistant, Dan, lives permanently in a caravan near the property's entrance, approximately 70 metres from the Pool House and 80 metres from the Creek House. The caravan faces away from both guest houses, with a garage alongside it providing additional separation. Dan respects our guests' privacy and generally keeps to his own area, although you may occasionally see him walking to the letterbox, attending to the bins, carrying out maintenance or going about everyday life.
- On-site help: Dan helps with general maintenance and upkeep, and is our on-site backup contact for urgent property issues if you are unable to reach us. Please always contact us first.
- Rain: Dan's companion, Rain, is a gentle, timid blue heeler who is a little hard of hearing. She sometimes wanders around the property off-lead, including along the driveway and potentially near guest areas. If you're bringing your own dog, please be aware that you may encounter Rain during your stay.
Property Upkeep & On-Site Personnel
- Property Upkeep: To keep the sanctuary looking its best, occasional maintenance or gardening may take place during your stay. You may see Dan or members of our maintenance team on the grounds, including our gardener, pool technician, septic servicing crew, or our cleaners accessing the laundry area. We try to schedule this between stays, but that isn't always possible, so our pool technician may occasionally need to service the pool while you're staying. Lawn mowing is weather-dependent and cannot be strictly scheduled around stays. We always aim to minimise disruption and respect your privacy.
- Security Cameras: For your safety and the security of the property, exterior cameras actively monitor the outdoor grounds. Cameras are located at the garage (facing both directions of the driveway), facing the letterbox and rubbish bins, monitoring the driveways as cars approach each house, covering the pathway between the houses, and pointed toward the creek at the Creek House (it does not view the outdoor shower or decks). Our cleaning crew may also use the cameras on your departure day to plan the turnover clean.
- Keys: Please leave your keys on the dining table at checkout or hidden in the yellow letterbox when you put the rubbish in the bin on your way out. (A lock-out fee of $80 applies if we need to let you in, and lost keys incur a replacement fee of up to $300).
